Networking can open doors to opportunities you might not find otherwise. During this day you'll be adding networking to your applications to help you secure those crucial interviews. We’ll provide you with actionable steps and tips to make meaningful connections. We believe this approach will propel you even closer to landing your dream job.

🔗Who should I network with?🔗

• Family members and friends:👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A good place to start is to let your personal connections know that you’re looking for opportunities.    

• Former Colleagues and Managers:👔 These people already know your work ethic and skills. They can give referrals or introduce you to key people in their network.

• Alumni Networks:🎓 If you attended college or university, your alumni network can be a goldmine of connections. Reach out to fellow alumni who work in companies or industries you're interested in.

• Industry Professionals:💼 Connect with people currently working in your desired field. They can provide valuable insights and might know about job openings.

• Professional Associations:📚 Join industry-specific associations or groups. These organizations often host events and provide resources to help you meet like-minded professionals.

• Independent recruiters or recruiters of target companies:👥 It would not be out of place to let them know you’re seeking a job. Occasionally, you can join a good team or get useful contacts through them.

• Peers in similar roles:👫 A kind of emotional connection with people of the same generation as you may lead you to communication with the right people too.

The most effective place to network is LinkedIn. 

Send a connection request with a personalized message that could mention any common interests or connections.
