What regions and countries do you find jobs in?

We primarily focus on the US and Canadian markets for residents in those markets. Occasionally, we help candidates find roles outside these regions, including the UK, EU, and other areas where they have or can easily get work authorization. While it is uncommon for us to accept candidates outside our target regions, you can book a call to discuss your unique situation.

Do you offer a Money-Back guarantee?

No, we don’t offer a money-back guarantee, and here’s why. We only accept clients we genuinely believe we can help secure a job. We set clear expectations upfront, considering the challenges each role and skill set may face in the current economy.

While some companies offer guarantees by charging higher fees to other clients, we strive to keep our rates as low as possible. Our commitment is to provide focused, effective support to each candidate without unnecessary costs.

While we primarily focus on Software Engineering and Product Management roles, we also work with Quality Assurance, Business Development, Project Management, Design, and many other roles.

If you're in a tech-related position, we're likely willing to work with you if we believe we can help.

What role seniorities do you work with?

We primarily work with individuals at mid to senior levels in their careers, including sometimes those in management and executive levels. Occasionally, we accept candidates starting their careers.

Each role and level of seniority faces different placement challenges due to economic and market conditions. Entry-level and executive roles typically take longer to secure than mid and senior-level positions.

We maintain complete transparency, especially in unique circumstances. If we believe we cannot help you, we will inform you upfront and refund any payments made before starting the process.

Some clients secure jobs in just over a month, while others with more specialized roles may take over six months. We tailor our approach to each individual’s strengths and weaknesses, and we are confident in our ability to help our clients find jobs faster than they could on their own. Am I a good fit for this service?

We're transparent and honest. Once you sign up or book a call, we'll assess your fit with empathetic yet candid feedback. If we agree you’re not a fit or you decide to opt out, we'll refund any payments made before starting.

Who’s the perfect candidate? Ideally, someone currently employed but looking to transition to a new role. If you were fired or laid-off, it depends. Do you do all the work for me?

Your Talent Agent will handle much of the heavy lifting to find roles and secure interviews, but your involvement is crucial. As the expert on yourself, you’ll help us understand your goals and strengths. You’ll need to answer questions, interact with interested recruiters, and prepare for interviews. We encourage you to stay engaged and active in your job search with your Talent Agent. The more involved you are, the faster your job search will progress.

Why isn't this free? Don't companies pay you?

No, companies do not pay us because we are not a recruiting service. We work for the candidate, not the companies. Recruiting firms prioritize their corporate clients and aim to place any candidate in their roles, often limiting your options to their clients.

Talent Agent is different. As a 'reverse-recruiting' company, we act as a talent agency for exceptional candidates, helping you find the best role suited to you, anywhere. We negotiate on your behalf to secure the best positions and salaries for your future success.

Why is it so expensive?

Many companies promise to find you a job using AI-driven applications, which often have less than a 0.5% chance of landing you an initial interview. They submit hundreds of applications without considering your unique skills and personality. It's a waste of money.

Some companies charge $15k or more to find you a job plus a % of your salary. We believe all of their failures are baked into this amount.

Talent Agent is different. We initially considered building an AI platform but found it insufficient for addressing individual needs. Real humans with recruiting experience who can empathize and think creatively handle our process. While we use AI for some tasks, it is always guided by a human touch. It is this human touch that makes all the difference.

Your Talent Agent dedicates over 10 hours a week, 40 hours a month, providing a personalized, white-glove service. This approach naturally costs more but yields significantly better results than AI alone.

What if you can't land me a job?

We understand the challenges posed by the current economy. We're transparent about the tough market conditions. Unlike some companies that charge high fees to offset losses, we focus on making each client successful. Our high ethical standards drive us to help you increase your chances of securing your desired job.

We only accept clients we believe we can help find a job faster than on their own. If you opt for the month-to-month subscription and we determine after evaluation that we can't assist you, we'll refund your money. We're committed to your success.

What are the details about the month-to-month plan?

The month-to-month plan may be ideal for those who believe they can secure a job quickly without giving up part of their salary. There’s no contract or fixed term, making it a great way to try our services. You can switch to the other plan at any time.

This subscription automatically charges you monthly, with the billing date set on the day of your kick-off call. You can cancel at any time, providing flexibility and control over your job search journey.

What is the 6 mo. commitment plan details?

We're excited to offer a unique 6-month commitment plan, available to select clients after evaluation. This plan is designed with shared risk and reward in mind. While we only accept clients we believe we can genuinely help, this plan offers a significantly reduced monthly fee, plus 5% of your first year's base salary, including any sign-on bonus (excluding other extras). You'll sign a contract where you'll commit for 6 months or until you find a job that meets your criteria, whichever comes first. If you haven't found a role after 6 months, you can either leave or continue on a month-to-month basis under the same terms. Book a call with us to learn more and to see an example contract.

How long does it take to get interviews?

The hiring process is pretty long across the companies. We expect you to get first communications with companies in the first few weeks. At the same time, it will likely take you another 2 to 4 weeks to go through the full hiring process of a single company.

What does the process look like once I'm signed up?

3. Work on your resume with your Resume Expert, while your Talent Agent starts to apply to jobs;

4. Communicate with your team in Slack;

Can you tailor my resume for each position?

Absolutely! Discuss your preferences with your Talent Agent and strategize together on the best solution tailored specifically for you. While it's not practical to customize your resume for every application, we focus on doing what's right for each role. Sometimes, this means exploring alternative approaches rather than applying directly. Our goal is to find the most effective strategy to help you succeed in your job search.

Where can I monitor the progress?

Our core value is transparency. You get a full report in Google Sheets with information on the date of application, link to the job posting and other details updated daily.

How many applications can you do per day/week?

On average, we submit 25-30 applications per week. However, this number can vary based on the strategy you develop with your Talent Agent. We emphasize being focused and strategic rather than applying to every available role. The quality of applications is more important than quantity, and we find that a targeted approach leads to greater success. Your Talent Agent will help you identify and pursue the best opportunities efficiently.
